He described several projects Vali Cooper had <br /> managed, and explained how the City checked the company's references. Councilman Claire reported that the Mayor, Vice Mayor and he had attended a reception <br /> for Redwood City's new Sister Port, the Port of Nantong, China. He said "I visited the <br /> Port of Nantong in 1994 on a business trip that I paid for myself... and out of that trip <br /> came the signing of the Sister City agreement today.
