As one result, the modified mitigation in this <br /> Addendum for the cumulative impact at intersection of Veterans and Whipple matches the <br /> mitigation in the 640 Veterans Boulevard Mitigated Negative Declaration. <br /> Table 3.4-1 which follows provides a summary of the estimated Pete's Harbor project and <br /> Peninsula Park (2007 Addendum) project trip generation characteristics compared with the <br /> 2003 EIR project. As shown, the current project would generate an estimated 1,926 daily trips <br /> (per average weekday), including 157 AM peak-hour trips and 176 PM peak-hour trips. The <br /> 2003 EIR indicated that the Pete's Harbor component of the proposed Marina Shores Village <br /> project would have generated an estimated 3,635 daily trips (per average weekday), including <br /> 208 AM peak-hour trips and 234 PM peak-hour trips. <br /> It is noted that--due to the reduction in the Peninsula Park/One Marina project from 796 <br /> residential units to 249 units, the traffic generation for the current Pete's Harbor project <br /> (411 units) is already completely accounted for in the 2007 Addendum traffic calculations <br /> for the Peninsula Park project itself(see Table 3.4-1, 2007 Addendum Project vs. 2014 <br /> Scenario). <br /> As also shown in the table, the current Pete's Harbor project plus the One Marina project would <br /> generate an estimated 4,991 daily trips (per average weekday), including 361 AM peak-hour <br /> trips and 422 PM peak-hour trips. The 2003 EIR indicated that the then proposed overall <br /> Marina Shores Village project involving these two components would have generated an <br /> estimated 14,108 daily trips (per average weekday), including 1,039 AM peak-hour trips and <br /> 1,099 PM peak-hour trips. <br /> The effects of these trip generation differences between the current Pete's Harbor project and <br /> the 2003 EIR and 2007 Addendum conclusions are summarized below. <br /> Impacts 7-1 through 7-6 Analysis: Project Peak-Hour Level of Service Impacts on <br /> Intersections, U.S. 101 Freeway Segments, and Freeway Ramps. The 2003 EIR identified <br /> significant impacts resulting from project-generated traffic on the following roadway facilities: <br /> • El Camino Real/Whipple Avenue intersection (Impact 7-1); <br /> • U.S. 101 southbound mixed-flow lanes, Whipple Avenue to Woodside Road segment--AM <br /> peak hour (Impact 7-2); <br /> • U.S. 101 southbound mixed-flow lanes, Woodside Road to Marsh Road segment--AM peak <br /> hour (Impact 7-3); <br /> • Westbound SR 84, County line to University Avenue and University Avenue to Willow Road <br /> segments--AM peak hour (Impact 7-4); <br /> • U.S. 101 southbound mixed-flow lanes, Whipple Avenue to Woodside Road segment--PM <br /> peak hour (Impact 7-5); and <br /> T.110695 Pete's Harbor EIR Addendumlrevised addendum no 213(10695-01).doc <br />
