Sandpiper Park Community Center Redwood Shores (100) REPORT: Parks, Recreation and Community Services Director Griffiths, April 7,1997 - Mayor Hartnett called upon those people in the audience who handed in speaker's cards. John Murphy, 421 Luff Lane, discussed GID 1-64 funds, $2 million in debt service and $8 million collected. Mr. Murphy asked if either Items 8.C. or 8.D. would be charged to GID 1-64. City Manager Everett advised that the money for Sandpiper Park Community Center will come ITom the Facilities Fees and ITom some fees ITom within the General Fund that have come through the Capital Improvement budget. He added that there are no GID 1-64 bond fund monies in this project. Councilman Claire repeated his request for a Council study session on GID 1-64 funds. He said it was a very complicated issue and the funds collected ITom the residents for that District go to the bond indebtedness. MEMO 4/22/97 Mayor Hartnett agreed it would be a good idea to have a full Council discussion on the matter, preceded by a written staff report.
