Ms. Aguirre said that Colima officials were very interested in establishing a <br /> relationship with Redwood City's other sister city, Zhuhai, China. <br /> Ms. Aguirre said Redwood City Intemational had extended a formal invitation to officials <br /> of Colima to visit Redwood City the end of Julylbeginning of August to coincide with the <br /> opening of our new City Hall. She said Colima officials were very interested in <br /> establishing a unique sister city relationship with Redwood City which would include the <br /> State and the three cities. Ms. Aguirre showed several documents presented to them <br /> including a resolution from the Governor. He informed the Council that Councilman Leipzig, Council <br /> representative to the AirportlRoundtable, was out of the state and therefore would be <br /> unable to attend. Councilman Ruskin asked that the Mayor appoint someone to attend this <br /> very important meeting, and Mayor Hartnett said he would check with Council Members <br /> and staff. <br /> MEMO 6/3/97 <br /> B. Vice Mayor Howard advised that the D.A.R.E. graduation would be held at 6:00 p.m. on <br /> June 4 at the Red Morton Center.
