(304) <br /> REPORT: Vice Mayor Howard, August 25,1997 <br /> Councilman Leipzig asked about the budget for Redwood City 2000. <br /> City Manager Everett said that the three agencies listed above, and the Peninsula <br /> Partnership and City of Redwood City each contribute $15,000 per year. Beth Ross, <br /> Redwood City 2000 Coordinator, advised that RC 2000 has received grants in the <br /> amount of $31,000 from United Way, $15,000 from the Peninsula Foundation, and <br /> $45,000 from the Hancock Foundation which supports the second staff member. Ms. <br /> Ross said in order to distribute funds RC 2000 receives it needs to be stipulated in the <br /> agreement that Redwood City is the fiscal agent. There is no additional cost to the City <br /> to be this agent.
