Section 9. 9 of Ordinance No. 1130 , the Redwood <br /> City Zoning Ordinance, as amended, is hereby amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> "Section 9. 9. Yard and Open Space Requirements. <br /> a. The following yard setbacks are required in the R-4 <br /> District: <br /> (1) Front yards: <br /> Front yards shall have a basic minimum yard setback of <br /> fifteen (15) feet, and provided further that no garage <br /> or carport space shall have its entrance located within <br /> twenty (20) feet of any property line. <br /> (2) Side yards: <br /> (a) Interior side yards, one-story dwellings: <br /> Interior side yards (side yards that abut other <br /> yards) shall have a basic minimum yard setback of <br /> six (6) feet, provided that the horizontal <br /> distance to the side lot line of any point on any <br /> building face shall not be less than one-half its <br /> height above the side lot line. Wherever a main <br /> entrance to a building containing three (3) or <br /> more units opens into an interior side yard, a <br /> fifteen-foot minimum side yard setback shall be <br /> required which shall apply only to that portion of <br /> the lot between the front lot line and such main <br /> entrance. <br /> 10 <br />
