The PRCS Department coordinates 8 After School Programs(7 with RCSD and 1 with Belmont- <br /> Assistance Redwood Shores School District). A major component of each program is tutoring and homework <br /> support.2.The Library and PRCS collaborates on an afterschool program at Schaberg Library.3.All <br /> four libraries have afterschool homework centers.4.The Library offers 24/7 online remote access <br /> to live homework tutors for all ages.5.The Library's Project READ tutors 400 academically at-risk <br /> youth and teens annually. <br /> Program BC-25 Library Literacy Story—Time I/O 1.The Library has 8,000 literacy story times and youth programs annually,including intensive <br /> Programs parent/baby education classes.2.The Library serves 1,200 children weekly through 60 preschools <br /> with the Traveling Story time program.3.All schools are visited annually by youth service <br /> librarians and all kindergartners are issued library cards.4.2,500 youth and parents have enrolled <br /> in Project READ literacy intervention programs. <br /> Program BC-26 Adult Education Surveys I/O 1.Collaboration with Canada College.2.Adult inmate program through Project READ.3.Planning <br /> collaboration with PRCS and Library for services to seniors and adults. 3.PRCS developed a senior <br /> health survey and is using data to develop new programs and a communication plan to get adults <br /> active. <br /> Program BC-27 Library Customer Reviews I/O Same as 2012: Rated Top Library of the Country. <br /> Program BC-28 Library Needs Assessment I/O A technology needs assessment in progress. <br /> Program BC-29 Foreign Literacy and Library I/O Same as 2012. 1.The Library offers language programs in house and remotely 2.The Library's Fair <br /> Services and Programs Oaks Branch and Downtown Library continues to purchase materials in Spanish and offers bi- <br /> lingual programs for families and youth.3.
