Councilman Royer rnoved the public hearing <br /> be set for June 7th, seconded by Councilman Stout and carried. <br /> COMMUNICATION FROM �IE HEALTH DEPARTNNIENNT 4N REPORT OF EMERALD LAKE SANITARY INSPECTIONS. <br /> ,�, Below is the Sanitary Inspection report covering the Cit� of Red�ood �ity for the month <br /> ��� <br /> of April, 1954• <br /> To date there have been 362 homes surveyed, and 90 abatement notices issued. <br /> This means that approximately 25� of the homes were found to have faulty disposal <br /> systems. <br /> Of the 9!3 installations that were faulty, � had been properly corrected, 33 are <br /> being rechecked evith the idea of citing before the District Attorney, and 12 are <br /> still Within the 30-day abatemsnt notice period. <br /> Councilman Royer moved aeceptance of report, seconded by Councilman Britsch�i, and <br /> carried. <br /> COMMIINICATION REGARDAING PETITION TO VACATE EASEMENT RENATO OAKS. City Attorney Cu�rie ad- <br /> vised that the petition was premature inasmuch as the Council has not received any <br /> notice of action taken by the Planning Commission. Mr. Erwin Eiger appeared statin� <br /> that the Planning Commiasion was holding up progress in this matter. After discussion <br /> it was learned that the Planning Comini.ssion was waiting for a deed for an easement before <br /> � <br /> makin� an� recommendations to the City Council. Councilman Royer moved approval to <br /> � <br /> resubdivide and vacate easemsnt, Cit9 Attorney to prepare the nece�sary resolution. <br /> Councilman Britschgi stated that it should be made a part of the record that the property <br /> owners are in agreement with the conditions set by the Planning Comrni.asion. City Attor- <br /> �` ney Currie stated that the Council could grant resubdivision in two portions. Council- <br /> � <br /> man Royer made an amsndment to the motion that the property be subdivided into two <br /> parcels, one without any easement and the other to include both easements and sub�ect to <br /> approval of Planning Commission on R�a� 25, seconded by Councilman Britschgi and carried. <br /> Councilman Granger moved th at the City Attorney prepare the necessary Resolution in <br /> compliance with a letter dated May l9th (petition to vacate easement ) , seconded bg <br /> Councilman Britschgi and carried. <br />
