�8 <br /> REPORTS OF COMMITTEES: Councilman Royer reported on Bernard H. Cooper application to re- <br /> subdivide his property at 1203 Ruby Street to enable him to sell the rear portion of <br /> his lot. Council�a.n Royer reported that two neighbors had protested while three <br /> neighbors stated they had no ob�ections. The Committee returned the matter to the Coun- <br /> cil without recommendation. After discussion as to the hardship case �hereby �Ir. <br /> Cooper would atand the chance of loosing his property due to extremely high assessment � <br /> payments, Councilman Britschgi moved that re-subdivision be allowed, seconded bg ' <br /> .w�rr <br /> Councilman Spillers and carried. - <br /> COUNCIL111BAAN STOUT REPORTED ON YOU�I CENTER BUILDING. Two replies had been received from <br /> service clubs, namely Lions and Kiwanis. Councilman Stout stated he would schedule a <br /> � <br /> meeting in the near future arid get started on the proposed pro�ect. � <br /> PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF UPTON STREET AREA. Councilman Britschgi requested this matter be `� <br /> held over to the first meeting of July, or July bth. - <br /> PROPOSED AMENDA+�NT TO DOG ORDINANCE. Councilman Jones was absent from the meeting and no <br /> report abailable, however City Attorney� Currie reported that the amendment had been <br /> prepared which �rould prc�vide for control of dogs running at large. In response to <br /> inquiry as to how this ordinance could be enforced it was decided that the ordinance <br /> as amended would grant the necessary authority to take care of any situation which <br /> might be reported. Councilman Britschgi moved introduction of axnendment, seconded by <br /> Councilman Royer and carried. <br /> ESTIABATE TO IMPROVE AREA BETWEEN THE POOLE BUILDING ,AND CHAMBER OF COMMERCE BUILDING. City <br /> Manager advised that the estimate cost would be as follows: <br /> Grade and prepare subgrade 7632 Sq. Ft. � �0.05 � 381.60 ^^* <br /> Apply 6" crusher run rock base � 0.10 76 .ZO <br /> � 1,1 . 0 ,�,,, <br /> Nir. Rolison advised that the money was available from Off-Straet Parking Funds. City Engineer Jain reported that repairs <br /> had been started and the sidewalks on Carson Street, Roosevelt Avenue and at West�rood <br /> Park had been completed. Final �report on agenda for June i4tn. <br /> REAL ESTATE COMNIITTEE ON PROPOSED SALE QF WESTERLY 1/2 of Lot 6, Block B, Boyd and Ksnt <br /> Addition. The Committee placed an appraised value of �925, and Councilman Royer moved <br /> authority to advertise for sa1e, second�d by Councilman Spille�s and carried. <br /> TRIICK WEIGHT LI�ITS AND ROUTES: Copy of proposed ordinance and map will be furnished and <br /> study meeting will b e called in the near future. <br /> �� <br /> OFF-STREET PARKING.
