These proceedings would be under the "unin- habited territory" law and would take approximately sixty days to completion. Mr. Curri.e stated that normall� such an annexation would be done at property owners request and he would be required to pay the expense of the proceedings. It was the concensus of opinion � that under the circumstances Mr. Moore should be relieved on this expense. Mr. Moore agreed """� to withdraw his protest under these conditions. Moore�s property did not come to the attention of the original petitioners. In view of the fact that delay of the intended election would result in coat equal to the expense of special proceedings to cover Mr. Moore�s property, Councilman Britschgi moved that election be held as planned, and that Mr. Moorets petition for annexation of the remainder of his Lot 5 Block 27 would be undertaken without cost to him.
