Councilman Britschgi expressed his opposition to all awn- <br /> � ings a.nd suggested that the present ordinance of 62 feet be enforced. Zone on south side of Whipple <br /> Avenue to driveway entrance of Park-in Liquor Store and on the north side to the Fox <br /> Shoppe parking lot driveway entrance. FRANCES STREET AREA. Council- <br /> man Britschgi called attention to the locations in this area in which there were no side- <br /> - walks. Senior Civil Engineer Ivioen explained surveys were under way and that this area <br /> could be taken next. <br /> COUNCILMAN BRITSCHGI DISCUSSED THE UIiIDTH OF HOPKINS AVENUE WEST OF NEVADA STREET which narrows <br /> down considerably. A new home is under construction at Opal and Hopkins Streets, and <br /> � the suggestion is that �Zr. Rolison and Mr. Moen discuss the matter with the owner in an <br /> � effort to delay the construction of sidewalk until a plan can be worked out, possibly <br /> - with Gas Tax funds to widen street at this point. <br /> CONTRACTOR�S BUSINESS LICENSE. Councilman Royer requested that City N;anager check with San <br /> Carlos and ascertain how that city collects licenses from outside contractors.
