Councilman Gran�er moved that hearing be set for ABonda.y, August qth and that notices be mailed to all_ propsrty owners within a three hundred foot radius. Motion sec- � onded by Councilman Royer and carried. Councilman Spillers requested addresses of the � sia signers. MR. J. A. KRAMER, 90 - 5th Avenue, requests information regarding �he proposed widening oP Hop- kins Avenue between Nevada and the Alameda. Mr.. Kram�r is constr�ucting a home at Hopkins �* and Opal Avenues and he would like �o know the decision of the Council before laying out r�, his lawn and sprinkler system. Engineer Moen advised he had been in contact with Mr. Kra- mer snd had suggested that the latter write thie council. After discussion, Mr. �oen was directed to work out a pro�ect and bring back a rscommeada.tion on motion of Councilman Royer� seconded by Councilman Britschgi� and carried. Councilman Gran�er staxed his op�nion that the program should be carried out at all costs, and that the interested persons should be so notified. It �ras thought that the planting strip on the south �ide of Hopkins Avenue mi�t be used. It was also the opinion of Mr. &ioen th at the Gas Tax f�nds might be used in thia pro3ect. Mayor Herkner announced the public hearing and ordered the affidavit of publication of notice filed. There being no protests, written � or oral, Councilman Spillers awved that he aring be closed, seconded by Councilman Britschgi � and carried. City Attorney advised that resolution adop�ing the Master Parking Plan as a part of the original Master Plan was ready for adoption. Councilman Britschgi �ras of the opinion that Coun.cil should study the program further before adopting it. Councilman Royer concurred in this and moved that matter be carried over to the August 9th meeting, seconded by Councilman Britschgi and carried.
