It was thought that Council should secure more definite information before approv- <br /> ing the final map. Kreiss explained that the "`�' <br /> only thing that was holding the �ob up was the lack of help and th at he was sure Mr. Rice�s <br /> intentions were of t he best. Councilman Royer moved that the matter be placed on the agenda <br /> for thirty days, seconded b�r Councilman Spillers, Building Inspector to not3fy the o�rner <br /> that ,the Council expected him to have the building down xithin that period. Motion �,,carried. <br /> , <br /> COIINCILR�AN BRITSCHGI requeated that the TRAFFIC STUDY COMMITTEE investigate the possibilitg of <br /> ins�alling a FLA3HER SIGNAL on the Ala�da de las Pulgas at the intersection of the Hospital <br /> entrance and Blandford Blvd. Councilman Britschgi also suggested that the Hospital direc- <br /> tors might possibly be convinced that entrances to 13ie :hospital should be from Whipple Ave- <br /> nue. Captain Faulstich stated that the directors had been approaehed severa.l times regard- <br /> ing the �Nhipple Avenue entrance but ha,d been turned down in every instance. Councilman <br /> Britschgi then rnoved that the Traffic Fact Finding Committee atudy this matter and report �^+ <br /> their findings, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried. , � <br /> COtINCILD�AN BRITSCAGI also c.alled attention to the ARTICLE IN THE TRIBIINE in regard to the <br /> BAYSHORE FREEWAY and asked whether or not the State hed advised as to where the freeway <br /> should finally be located in the Redwood City area. City Engineer Jain stated that the <br /> � <br /> State was in the process of obtaining the necessary rights-of-�ray and probably would not <br /> w � <br /> disclose the final route until rights-of-�ray had been accomplished. b1r. Jain was of the <br /> opinion that the State had definitely decided on the location of the northerly clover <br /> leaf at Whipple Avenue while ths south�rly clover le af was still undecided. <br /> BANNER AT BROAD�AY AND �AIN STREETS ADVERTiSING FIREMAN�S DANCE.
