Councilman Jones noted the Planning Commission minutes approved the final map sub�ect to provisions of Ordinance 631 "except as previously excepted under approval of the tentative map". It was thought that Council should secure more definite information before approv- ing the final map. Councilman Royer moved Commissioner Bedb�ary be reappointed to serve an additional six year term, seconded by Councilman Britschgi and carried. COUNTY HEAL�I DEPARTMENT REQUEST CONSIDERBTION OF ORDINANCE REQUIRING PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT �i1ATER �iTELLS WITHIN CITY. Councilman Roye� moved that matter be discussed at a future study meet- ing before an�r action be taken, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. COUNCILMAN JONES stated that the Off Street Parking Committee was proceeding with the studies of the problems at hand without delay. COUNCILI�dAN SPILLERS requested a REPORT ON TIiE STATU3 OF BIIILDINGS A� 909 AND 911 MAIN STREET. �, Building Inspector Kreiss advised Mr. Rice had obtained a permit appro�cimately thrae weeks ago and had si�cty days within which to rezone the building. �r. Kreiss explained that the "`�' only thing that was holding the �ob up was the lack of help and th at he was sure Mr. Rice�s intentions were of t he best. Councilman Royer moved that the matter be placed on the agenda for thirty days, seconded b�r Councilman Spillers, Building Inspector to not3fy the o�rner that ,the Council expected him to have the building down xithin that period. Motion �,,carried. , COIINCILR�AN BRITSCHGI requeated that the TRAFFIC STUDY COMMITTEE investigate the possibilitg of ins�alling a FLA3HER SIGNAL on the Ala�da de las Pulgas at the intersection of the Hospital entrance and Blandford Blvd. Councilman Britschgi also suggested that the Hospital direc- tors might possibly be convinced that entrances to 13ie :hospital should be from Whipple Ave- nue. Captain Faulstich stated that the directors had been approaehed severa.l times regard- ing the �Nhipple Avenue entrance but ha,d been turned down in every instance. Councilman Britschgi then rnoved that the Traffic Fact Finding Committee atudy this matter and report �^+ their findings, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried. , � COtINCILD�AN BRITSCAGI also c.alled attention to the ARTICLE IN THE TRIBIINE in regard to the BAYSHORE FREEWAY and asked whether or not the State hed advised as to where the freeway should finally be located in the Redwood City area. City Engineer Jain stated that the � State was in the process of obtaining the necessary rights-of-�ray and probably would not w � disclose the final route until rights-of-�ray had been accomplished. b1r. Jain was of the opinion that the State had definitely decided on the location of the northerly clover leaf at Whipple Avenue while ths south�rly clover le af was still undecided.
