i �� COUNCILMAN BRITSCHGI DISCUSSED THE PRACTICE OF MAILING NOTICES TO PROPERTY OWNERS WITHIN 300 FOOT RADIUS OF PROPERTY EFFECTED. This practice in the past has included street widths in figuring the .footage involved. Councilman Britschgi then moved that the Ci.ty Clerk write the Planning Commission and suggest hereafter that streets be eliminated and thus extand the radius by the width of the street. Goodwin School, etc. Councilman Spillers stated his opinion that the portion of the Hetch- Hetchy, if found to be auccessful, should be extended to additional Hetch-Hetchy areas. Mr. Ral�h Elliott addressed the Council to the effect that if the cost figures indicated that no additional men were provided it would result in a lessor cost to maintain the var- ious parks in the area. Mrs. Ver a Eskin called attention to the Chestnut Street and Fleis- xnan pla�grounds which �vere in a dilapidated condition there being no sod and very little play equipment. In her opinion these two playground areas should be maintained.
