Motion was seconded by Councilman Spillers <br /> and carried. Mrs. D. C. Morgan of 3�. Councilman Spillers moved December 13th be establish- <br /> ed as the date of the public hearing, seconded by Councilman Stout and carried. <br /> PETITION 4F PROPERTY OV�iNERS OPPOSING GRADING OF AREA FOR PARKING STULSAFT PARK. Councilman Ro�er <br /> stated that the Park and Recreation Commission had discussed this matter and the question <br /> was to be discussed further at the meeting of November 3rd. Mr. William Hanley of the <br /> Cominission reported that the proposed improvement had been discussed favorably. Councilman <br /> Royer moved that the petition be turned over to the Park and Recreation Commission so that <br /> they may be informed of the opposition, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. Com- <br /> �unication from Nfr. David H. Grosse, 3080 Goodwin �venue, stating his protest was read by <br /> '�" the Clerk and turned over to the Park and Recreation Comm3.ssion. Mr. Rossin�er addressed <br /> ��� the Council on the subject and was advised to attend the Commission meeting V�ednesday <br /> evening. <br /> CITY AUDITOR REQUEST TRANSFER OF FtTNDS TO GENERAL FUND. RESOLUTION #1784, transferring �75,000.0C <br /> from Equipment Replacement Fund was offered by Couneilman Granger who moved adoption, sec- <br /> onded by Councilman Spillers and carried on roll call. The amount transferred will be <br /> returned from first tax collection. <br /> CITY ENGINEER JAIN REGARDING FINAL ACCEPTANCE WOODSIDE TERRACE N0. 3. The following items re- <br /> maining to be completed. <br /> 1. Rerrwval of two abandoned driveways and replacement with standard curbs, <br /> gutters and sidewalks. <br /> 2. Furnishing and planting of trees as required by Subdivision Ordinance. <br /> 3. Relocating and placing iron pipe monuments and setting out bench marks <br /> as required by Subdivision Ordinance. <br /> �, The subdivider has agreed to deposit the sum of �500.00 to �uarantee the planting of trees <br /> � in park ways within 90 days from the date of demand by the city. Frost and Brian, engineers <br /> of the project, agreed to complete engineering work by November 5th. City Engineer Jain <br /> states that he has just been advised that the removal of abandoned driveways and replacing <br /> of curb, gutters and sidewalks has already been completed. IYiv. Jain recommends acceptance <br /> � � <br /> of the improvements in Woodside Terrace No. 3 sub�ect to the deposit of the �500.00 as <br /> �r <br /> noted above. Councilman Spillers moved approval, seconded by Councilman Jones and carried. <br /> In regard to the bond covering rep3acement of broken sidewalks in the area it was decided <br /> that the subdivider or contractor be required to put up the usual �50.00 bond for each <br /> building permit or �1,00�.00 bond to cover all permits in the area.
