COUNCILMAN STQUT REQUESTED THAT THE TRAFFIC FACT FINDING COMMITTEE CHECK INTO THE STOP SIGN ON UPTON STREET NEAR JEFFERSON AVENUE. In his opinion some _additional warning should '�"� be in evidence. ,,,� COIINCILMAN STOtJT DISCUSSED THE PRESERTT STATLTS OF THE CITY DUMP, calling attention to the old junk cars which are still in evidence and also that more metal was being added to the pile. He requested that the City Manager contact the dump operator in an effort to h ave ,,,,,,� the place cleaned up. City Engineer stated that at the present time it appeared there was � no market for scrap iron and that the dump operator had not been pushed too hard, Council- man Stout also stated that �here had been no cover applied to the material being pushed over the duarp and that in his opinion something should be done to proeide a better road for cars comin� into the area. City Manager was requested to contact tYie dump operator in an attempt to work out a solution. Agenda November 15th. COUNCILMAN ROYER REPORTED THAT THE SCH OOL BOARD HAD SANCTIONED THE SWITCH OF HA@fiES PARK PROPER- TY and the necessary papers would be along soon. COUNCILMAN GRANGER COT�MENTED ON TF3E CONDITION IN CORDILLERAS CREEK WHICH HAS AGAIN BECOME A DUNIPING GROUND FOR REFUSE. It ap- � pears that Sterling Company is about to negotiate. C ITY MANAGER SUBMITTED A LETTER RECOMMENDING 7�iAT TfiE POOLE BUILDING BE PAINTED AND RECONDITION� "� ED FOR OCCUPANCY BY THE BUILDING INSPECT4R DEPARTMENT. The sum of �600.00 will be requir- ed to take care of this work. Councilman Britschgi offered Resolution #1788 and moved adoption transferring the requested sum from unallocated funds on hand in the capital bud- get. ANNA BONANNO REQUESTING PERMISSION TO MOVE TWO EXISTING BUILDINGS locat- ed on right-of-v�ay for proposed street for Carlton Court was read by the Clerk. The re- quest to remove these two homss was ma.de primarily to clear the right-of-way so that work could progress. Mrs. Bonanno will go through the usual procedure in appearing before the Planning Commission to secure a permit to eventuall� locate the homes on lots �l and 2 of Carlton Court.
