Councilman Granger moved that the City Clerk check <br /> back on tha minutes and bring in the report of the present status of this matter. No decision has been arrived at re- <br /> garding this matter and the committee consisting of Councilman Granger and Councilman Brit- <br /> schgi contemplate discussing the matter with plot owners to discover their feelings in the <br /> mat ter. <br /> VETERANS CO-ORDINATING COUNCIL RE: PROPOSED ABANDONDI�NT OF UNION CEMETERY. This letter is re- <br /> questing the Council to adivse the reasons and the purpose behind the abandonment-of the <br /> Union Cemetery. The feeling of this Co-ordinating Council was apparently very strong and <br /> the request made was the result of a meeting attended by representatives of all veterans <br /> organizationa. FERRIS MILEu APPEARED TO REPORT THAT THE WAR MEMORIAL BUILDING COMMITTEE HAD bRET V1fITH THE <br /> ARCHITECT to consider a desirable location and unanimous choice had been the westerly end <br /> of Community Park between the swimming pool and Valota Road. Mr. Irving Gold who was pre- <br /> sent stated that the Park and Recreation Commission were in full accord with the selection <br /> of this location.
