<br /> misaion recommends that the City Council take the followin� stand in connection with the

<br /> 1. �iat a pro3ect study be made of th e intersection by �he Division

<br /> 2. That the Division of Highways consider an interim project to
<br /> relieve the condition at said intersection. �
<br /> 3. That the Division of Highways recommend, after the projec� study,
<br /> a permanent solution to the problem.
<br /> 4. That Spruce Street be considered as the State H ighway.
<br /> It is further recommended by the Planning Commission that the City Council offer every as-
<br /> sistance to the Division of Highways to�ard the end that an earlier conclusion might be """�
<br /> reached. N1r. Tuite addressed t he Council and offered his ob�ections to Spruce Street be- �r
<br /> ing made part of the highway system, 114r. Tuite was informed that the present thinking
<br /> of the Highway �3epartment is to make Spruce Street the interchange point with the new
<br /> Bayshore. The present Bayshore Highway will be left as is for entrances to the City
<br /> Streets for south-bound traffic. The City Council will meet in the near future to study
<br /> the new plans and proposals of the Division of Highways.
