The <br /> reason for this recommendation is that Mr. Benevento has been operating the dump under <br /> subcontract from Mr. Joly for at least the past year and has given satisfactory service. <br /> City Engineer further stated that in his opinion Mr. Jolyts operation has failed to � <br /> comply with the condition of t he contract and his recommendation apnears to be justified. ` �' <br /> R?r. Dennis Joly, who submitted the �100 per month bid, addressed the Council in support <br /> of his f ather, Mr. Romeo Joly, and requested t hat t he Council give further consideration <br /> to his bid. Councilman Spillers then �withdrew his motion with the consent of the <br /> second and Councilman Britschgi then moved that the matter be turned over to the spec- <br /> ial cornmittee, Councilman Herkner chairman, to meet with the City Attorney, City Manager, <br /> Mr. Joly and Mr. Benevento to discuss the matter further and to ma_ke a recommendation <br /> to the Council.
