He recommended that the State be requested to <br /> install stop lights and lef t turn lanes at these locations. Councilman Britschgi then <br /> moved that the Traffic Fact Finding Committee and the City Engineer s�art the necessary <br /> procedure to secure lights and left turn lanes at these locations, motion seconded by <br /> Councilman Jones and ca�ried. � <br /> MR. VIIdCENT RAMBEAU DISCUSSED TFiE SUBJECT OF CREEK BONDS and the general understanding that <br /> the Friendly Acres area was unfriendly and opposing the passage of the bond issue. He <br /> stated that he had been informed that the City had spent considerable money in the <br /> F�iendly Acres area at the time of installation of the storm drainage sy$tem. <br /> City Attorney Currie advised tY�att�.e situation in the Friendly Acres area was no <br /> different from any other area within the City, stating that there was not an improve- � <br /> ment in the City where storm drainage had not been installed at �he property ownera <br /> expense. After further discussion, City &Ianager Rolison and City Attorney Currie were <br /> requested to seeure the facts and release same to the press by noon, Tuesday, April bth. <br /> NIR.
