Britschgi, William „�,;, H. Royer, and Hiram S. Stout were thereby eleeted Councilmen for the full �Germ of four c4) years , and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to si�n and deliver to said Carl A. Brit$chgi, �fiilliam H. Royer, and Hiram S. Stout a Certificat of Election and to administer to each of said persons the Oath of Office prescribed in t he Constitution of the State of California. PASSED AND A�PTED this 19th day of April, 195�}• Mayor Gr�nger in a few well chosen remarks expressed his appreciation for the cooperation he had received from the entire Council during the past two yeas. Regarding the bond issues which failed to secure the necessary 2/3 rds ma�ority, May�or Granger stated the Council would continue to work on both projects to t3�.e end that ways and means might be accomplished to carry out the program. Mayor Granger then released all present committees appointed during his term of office. Councilwoman Tinney stated her en3oyment in �orking with the Council for the past two �""" years, and expressed her thanks to the Department heads and employees for their coopera- tion. She stated that while she was bowing out there was a possibility tha� she might � return at a later da�e. Councilman Jones offered felicitations to Mrs. Tinney, the only woman member of the Council in the history of the City and, after words of praise, offered a resolution of � commendation and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman Herl�ner and carrisd on ro11 call. �""' Councilmen Royer and Britschgi expressed their thanks to the voters who returned them to the Council f'or another four years, followed by remarks from Couneilmen Spillers and Herkner. Mayor Granger then offered Resolution ad�ourning in Memory of the late RICHARD DRIVON, Fire Marshal and member of' the Fire Department for many years. Councilman Britsehgi moved adoption, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried on roll call.
