General Vacation of Public Right-of-Way - Bradford Street (606)
Mr. Ekern, Community Development Director, presented the report and added that this
is a request regarding the project at 601 Main Street to vacate a portion of Bradford
Street in order to enable the development of the property. The easement would be
vacated and then sold to the developer for development.
Vice Mayor Gee asked if this would take a property off the remnant properties list.
Mr. Ekern replied that this property has been connected already but it will clean up the
development so the easement is not oddly shaped.
A Council Member asked if this was done in accordance with the Charter change that
was made a few years ago and City Attorney Thompson confirmed this.
Mayor Aguirre opened the Public Hearing. There was no Public Comment.
Recommendation:
1. Conduct a Public Hearing and adopt resolution vacating portion of
Bradford Street.
2.
