EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES. TIME SCHEDULE and FEE SCHEDULE <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> The Police Facility was constructed in 1994 and is in need of improvements to the <br /> wireless target retrieval system. The facility just completed upgrade to the gun range <br /> where the bullet retrieval was upgraded so that rifles can be used in the indoor facility. <br /> During the bid process, an Additive Bid Item was included for the wireless target retrieval <br /> system; however, due to budget constraints, the item was not awarded as part of the <br /> contract. Additional funding was then allocated in the fiscal year 2013/2014 budget for <br /> the upgrade. <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES AND TIME SCHEDULE <br /> Contractor shall perForm and provide the following: <br /> 1. Furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals necessary for the <br /> XWT Target Retrieval System. The contractor lump sum price shall be inclusive <br /> of all work, but not limited to, demolish, remove and disposal of existing target <br /> retrieval system, unloading and/or moving/placement of new equipment into the <br /> range area, furnish new XWT Target Retrieval System, support brackets and <br /> hangers, master control computer with touch screen and tablet controller, and all <br /> electrical work inclusive of new conduits and wires complete in place. Full <br /> compensation for additional materials and labor not shown or specified, which <br /> are necessary to complete the work shall be considered as included in the lump <br /> sum price paid, and no additional compensation will be made. <br /> 2. The Contractor shalt procure a Redwood City's business license and provide <br /> insurance, bonds (payment and performance)for the project. <br /> 3. The Contractor shall provide construction drawings for review and approval. <br /> Building department review may be necessary for the work. The Contractor shall <br /> provide ample time for City's Department review. <br /> 4. The Contractor shall coordinate with the City prior to starting construction. A pre- <br /> construction meeting shall be arranged with City staff. Construction schedule <br /> shall be provided during the pre-construction meeting. <br /> 5. The Contractor shall submit submittals for the.project. Favorable review of <br /> submittals shall be obtained prior to fabrication, delivery and construction of <br /> items requiring submittal review. Favorable review constitutes"General Check" <br /> only for general conformance with the design concept of the project. Favorable <br /> review shall not in no way relieve the Contractor from responsibility for errors or <br /> omissions contained therein. <br /> 6. The Contractor shall allow access to the Engineer/Inspector and City personnel <br /> at all times. <br /> 11 <br />
