9.A. - Page 39 <br /> City of Redwood City,Jessica Manzi <br /> March 11, 2014 <br /> Page 4 <br /> SamTrans (JPB) Site <br /> The available JPB site footprint is an awkwardly shaped 78,000 square feet space located on the <br /> SamTrans bus facility bounded by Caltrain tracks to the north,James Street to the southeast and <br /> California Street to the southwest. Development potential is limited by site access easement and <br /> on-site wetlands on the southeast corner of the site (refer to the figure below). To optimize parking <br /> spacing and to accommodate available facility design,the site was split into the Main site (60,650 <br /> square feet) and an Annex site (17,350 square feet). Two separate garages were thus estimated, <br /> with the assumption that vehicle access connections on each floor would be maintained between <br /> the two garages. Since the current site is a bus depot,the ground floor was retained in both <br /> facilities with a high roof clearance of 20 feet in order to continue accommodating and circulating <br /> buses within the modified facility. <br /> JPB Site <br /> ii.,....„41,. ...viiiiit -Net, .
