< <br /> h. Other-holes in pipe, missing tile; <br /> PACP pipe ratings shall be included for each pipe segment inspected. All videos shall be of good quality <br /> MPEG-4 format and shall clearly show the above stated conditions. The date, identification of sewer <br /> section by upstream and downstream manhole locations, and footage shall be displayed on the video <br /> data view at all times. <br /> MPEG-4 videos, pictures and databases must be submitted on external 1 TB(Terabyte)portable external <br /> hard drive. If a video and/or the capture images in the database do not clearly show the pipe conditions <br /> due to an inadequate amount of light or are of such poor quality that the Engineer is unable to evaluate <br /> the condition of the sewer or locate sewer service connections, the CONTRACTOR shall re-televise that <br /> section of the pipe at CONTRACTOR'S expense. <br /> Traffic Control <br /> The CONTRACTOR shall be solely responsible for traffic control. As a minimum, placement of adequate <br /> pre-warning and detour signs to control vehicular and pedestrian traffic shall be required. Certain arterial <br /> or commercial district streets may require night work. <br /> CONTRACTOR shall adhere to the WATCH Manual for traffic control. All CONTRACTOR 'S trucks shall <br /> have an arrow board and beacons as well as a full set of cones, candle sticks, and "Men at Work" signs <br /> and tripods that shall be used to provide safety for both employees and the general public. <br /> Confined Spaces <br /> If entry to confined spaces is necessary, the CONTRACTOR shall follow all appropriate local, state, and <br /> federal laws pertaining to confined space entries. Sanitary sewer manholes are considered confined <br /> spaces. Specific attention is directed also to OSHA safety rules, regulations and precautions to be taken <br /> by the Contractor before entering sanitary sewer manholes, and other sanitation structures with respect to <br /> physical and chemical hazards that may be present. <br /> Night Work <br /> If flow and/or traffic are an issue for CONTRACTOR to complete a segment, arrangements will be made <br /> with City to work at night. CONTRACTOR shall provide businesses/residences 48 hours prior notice of <br /> any potentially disruptive activity.Additional compensation for night work will not be paid by the City. <br /> DELIVERABLES: <br /> 1. Deliverables shall include CCTV inspection videos, pictures and databases in an external hard drive <br /> as mentioned herein; manhole inspection reports; printed CCTV inspection reports; summary of <br /> CCTV inspection reports in excel format(see details below}, color coded sewer basin site maps (see <br /> details below); M PEG-4 format color video. <br /> 2. Submit summary of the CCTV inspection reports in excel format showing the following: inspection <br /> ID, pipe segment reference, date of inspection, street name, upstream manhole no. designation, <br /> downstream manhole no. designation, sewer use, direction of flow, flow control, size of pipe, type of <br /> pipe, shape of pipe, pipe joint length, total pipe length, actual pipe length surveyed, pre-cleaning <br /> method use, weather condition and the overall pipe rating condition of the pipe segments (from MH <br /> to MH) indicating the following ratings 1 - if the pipe is in excellent condition, 2 if the pipe is in good <br /> condition, 3 - if the pipe is in fair condition, 4 if the pipe is in poor condition and 5 - if the pipe is in <br /> bad condition and needing immediate removal and replacement. <br /> 3. Submit color coded sewer basin site map showing pipe segments (from manhole to manhole) pipe <br /> condition rate designation in color coding as follows: Pipe segments (from manhole to manhole)with <br /> 1 -excellent pipe rating condition in blue color; pipe segments with 2-good pipe rating condition in <br /> green color; pipe segments with 3 -fair pipe rating condition in pink color ; pipe segments with 4 - <br /> poor pipe rating condition in orange color and pipe segments with 5 bad pipe rating condition in red <br /> color. <br /> ATTY/AGR/2014.047/PROFESSIONAL PIPE SERVICES <br /> REV:04-10-14 VR <br /> Page 10 of 11 <br />
