<br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> Mayor Hartnett asked if anyone would like to speak and the following people <br /> addressed the Council: <br /> Ginny Hughes, member of the Pride and Beautification Committee, asked Council if <br /> her Committee could help with Code Enforcement. <br /> Adrian Andersen asked if the issue of Paramedics had been tabled, and the City <br /> Manager said no it had not, that it would be considered by the Council Safety <br /> Committee. <br /> Council Members expressed support for the concept of Paramedics in the Redwood <br /> City Fire Department, and Councilman Leipzig acknowledged the problem was lack <br /> of money, not support. <br /> Jean Cloud recommended that the Council hold regular Council meetings at the <br /> normal place, 401 Marshall, but also attend Neighborhood Association meetings where <br /> the atmosphere is less intimidating and the Council could tell the neighbors about the <br /> activities ofthe City or what the neighbors are interested in hearing. <br /> Councilman Leipzig described the group of Realtors with whom he is meeting and <br /> discussing the best way to ensure adequate code enforcement in Redwood City. <br /> ____n____------------------------------------------------------------------------------__nn_n_____--------n <br /> Mayor Hartnett recessed the meeting for lunch at 12:30 p.m.. <br /> Meeting reconvened at 12:52 p.m. <br /> n_______n___------___n__-----------____-_nn______------------------------______n___________n______------- <br /> E.
