ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> 7.1.A. - Page 23 <br /> TENTATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> REDWOOD CITY AND <br /> CHIEF OFFICERS' ASSOCIATION (COA) <br /> RE: SUCCESSOR MOU <br /> that are incurred in connection with enrollment in and successful completion of <br /> an education development program or course. <br /> 16.14.2 Effective October 1, ll, anAn employee shall be eligible to receive <br /> reimbursement not to exceed six hundred and fifty dollars ($650.00) per fiscal <br /> year, are—if approved in advance of enrollment by the Human Resources <br /> DirectorPersonnel Officer and the employee's department head, and the <br /> employee successfully completes such course submitted for reimbursement with <br /> a grade of "C" or better. The Educational Expense Reimbursement Program <br /> may be used for professional development workshops or seminars. <br /> 16.14.3 The Human Resources DirectorPersonnel Officer may establish standards and <br /> criteria and enact such rules, regulations, procedures and policies as are <br /> necessary or appropriate to implement the provisions of this Article 14.14. <br /> Article 17: Health Plans <br /> 17.1 Health and Cafeteria Plans <br /> 17.1.3 BOA members employed by the City who have ten (10) years of service <br /> and retire under the City's retirement, the maximum City contribution toward <br /> health plan coverage shall be equal to the Ca1PERS Bay Area Kaiser Employee <br /> Only premium. Retirees that reside in other higher priced regions will be <br /> required to pay the additional premium amount that is in excess of the By Area <br /> rates. MOVED TO SECTION 17.2 BELOW <br /> 17.1.6 City Contribution: For the period October I, 2011 through December 31, 2011, <br /> for the aforementioned Cafeteria Plan shall be equal to the amount of the <br /> Ca1PERS Bay Area Kaiser Family premium per month per employee minus any <br /> costs incurred by the City to maintain the Group Health Benefits Plan in <br /> compliance with Government Code Section 22750, et. seq. (see 19.1.2). <br /> Effective January 1, 2012, the City's monthly contribution for each eligible full- <br /> time employee for the aforementioned Cafeteria Plan shall be equal to ninety <br /> percent (90%) of the premium of the health plan and level of coverage selected <br /> by the employee, up to ninety percent (90%) of the Ca1PERS Bay Area Kaiser <br /> Family Premium per employee, minus any costs incurred by the City to <br /> maintain the Health Benefits Plans under Government Code Section 22750, et. <br /> seq.
