Veterans of Foreign Wars Annual Certificates of Appreciation to Redwood City Safety <br /> Personnel, Police Officer Dave Gough and Fire Captain Steve Krause; (207) <br /> Bob Page, Veterans of Foreign Wars, presented the VFW's annual Certificate of <br /> Appreciation to Police Officer Dave Gough calling him an "everyday hero." Mr. Page <br /> described Officer Gough's work with youth, how he has helped the homeless and how <br /> popular he is with the people on his Downtown beat. Mayor Hartnett described his ride <br /> along with Officer Gough and how impressed he was with Officer Gough's <br /> communication skills and his polite forcefulness. <br /> Officer Gough thanked the VFW for the Certificate of Appreciation and said he couldn't <br /> think of any other job he would rather have.
