The Applicant shall submit calculations and size of proposed water <br /> main(s) and service(s) to Engineering for approval prior to the issuance of the <br /> Building Permit. <br /> 11. Property owner/applicant shall apply for and obtain a Grading Permit. <br /> Prior to Grading Permit issuance, the applicant shall submit a Plot and Finished <br /> Grading Plan prepared by a California registered Civil Engineer. <br /> 12. The applicant/contractor shall apply for an Encroachment Permit from <br /> Community Development Department (CDD) for work in the City public right-of-way, <br /> easements or property in which the City holds an interest. <br /> 13. Grading shall be performed in accordance with Volume Ill, Part II of <br /> the City's Engineering Standards <br /> (www.redwoodcityorq/cds/enbinperinAlstanglards/desion/partV). Soil or other <br /> construction materials shall not be stockpiled in the public right-of-way. Submit cut/fill <br /> volumes (CY) for all soils to be imported to or exported from the site. <br /> 14. All utilities shall be designed in accordance with the City's Engineering <br /> Standards. <br /> 15. Recycled water facilities shall be provided and designed in accordance <br /> with Engineering Standards for dual plumbing, irrigation and other warranted uses as <br /> mentioned in the Recycled Water Ordinance. <br /> 16. Prior to permit issuance, the owner/developer is expected to pay all <br /> applicable water, recycled water, and wastewater, related fees outlined on the City's <br /> web site at: <br /> htt•://vvww.redwoodcit .olg/bit/infrastructure/•df/FeesandCharees01.04.12..df <br /> 17. Pursuant to City Ordinance chapter 18, article XIV, street, curb, gutter <br /> and sidewalk shall be replaced, repaired, repaved, or reconstructed. <br /> 18. The applicant shall install underground utilities as outlined in the City <br /> Ordinance chapter 18, article XIV, Local Development Standards. The City's <br /> Technical Specification for Trenching and Backfill (Spec Section 02202) should be <br /> followed for utility installation. <br /> 19. The soils report shows highly corrosive soils, meaning that the City's <br /> Technical Specifications for Cathodic Protection (Spec. Section 02661) apply; <br /> concrete shall conform to Spec Section 02550 for corrosion resistant concrete. <br /> 20. Post-construction runoff into the storm drain shall not exceed pre- <br /> construction runoff levels. The applicant's design professional shall evaluate the <br /> project's impact to the City's storm drainage system and shall substantiate their <br /> conclusions with drainage calculations to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. <br /> 21. Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program Best Management Practices <br /> (BMPs) for construction shall be implemented to protect water quality, in accordance <br /> with the approved Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP).
