ATTACHMENT 1 10. The Applicant shall submit calculations and size of proposed water main(s) and service(s) to Engineering for approval prior to the issuance of the Building Permit. 11. Property owner/applicant shall apply for and obtain a Grading Permit. Prior to Grading Permit issuance, the applicant shall submit a Plot and Finished Grading Plan prepared by a California registered Civil Engineer. 12. The applicant/contractor shall apply for an Encroachment Permit from Community Development Department (CDD) for work in the City public right-of-way, easements or property in which the City holds an interest. 13. Grading shall be performed in accordance with Volume Ill, Part II of the City's Engineering Standards (www.redwoodcityorq/cds/enbinperinAlstanglards/desion/partV). Soil or other construction materials shall not be stockpiled in the public right-of-way. Submit cut/fill volumes (CY) for all soils to be imported to or exported from the site. 14. All utilities shall be designed in accordance with the City's Engineering Standards. 15. Recycled water facilities shall be provided and designed in accordance with Engineering Standards for dual plumbing, irrigation and other warranted uses as mentioned in the Recycled Water Ordinance. 16. Prior to permit issuance, the owner/developer is expected to pay all applicable water, recycled water, and wastewater, related fees outlined on the City's web site at: htt•://vvww.redwoodcit .olg/bit/infrastructure/•df/FeesandCharees01.04.12..df 17. Pursuant to City Ordinance chapter 18, article XIV, street, curb, gutter and sidewalk shall be replaced, repaired, repaved, or reconstructed. 18. The applicant shall install underground utilities as outlined in the City Ordinance chapter 18, article XIV, Local Development Standards. The City's Technical Specification for Trenching and Backfill (Spec Section 02202) should be followed for utility installation. 19. The soils report shows highly corrosive soils, meaning that the City's Technical Specifications for Cathodic Protection (Spec. Section 02661) apply; concrete shall conform to Spec Section 02550 for corrosion resistant concrete. 20. Post-construction runoff into the storm drain shall not exceed pre- construction runoff levels. The applicant's design professional shall evaluate the project's impact to the City's storm drainage system and shall substantiate their conclusions with drainage calculations to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. 21. Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program Best Management Practices (BMPs) for construction shall be implemented to protect water quality, in accordance with the approved Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP).
