MEMORANDUM FROM THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> CONCERNING A CLOSED SESSION BEFORE <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> TO: Honorable Mayor and Members of the City Council <br /> FROM: Pamela Thompson, City Attorney <br /> SUBJECT: CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATORS <br /> Conference with Real Property Negotiators pursuant to paragraph Section 54956.8: <br /> Property Address: 710 Hamilton <br /> Agency Negotiator: Robert Bell, City Manager <br /> Negotiating Parties: San Mateo County <br /> Under Negotiation: Price and Terms of Payment <br /> [Cal. Gov't Code section 54956.8; Cal. Gov't Code section 54954.5(b)] <br /> A closed session will be held on June 23, 2014, at 6:00 p.m., for the purpose of conferring with <br /> and/or receiving advice from your legal counsel concerning significant exposure to litigation based <br /> on existing facts and circumstances. <br /> After the closed session the legislative body of the local agency shall reconvene into open session <br /> and publicly report the following information: <br /> 1. Any action taken in the closed session; <br /> 2. the vote or abstention on each action of every member present; and <br /> 3. approval of an agreement concluding real estate negotiations provided as follows: <br /> a. If its own approval renters the agreement final, the body shall report that approval <br /> and the substance of the agreement in open session at the public meeting during <br /> which the closed session is held. <br /> b. If final approval rests with the other party to the negotiations, the local agency shall <br /> disclose the fact of that approval and the substance of the agreement upon inquiry <br /> by any person, as soon as the other party or its agent has informed the local <br /> agency of its approval. <br /> [Cal.
