CGM:jp:l/31/78 <br /> RE S O L U T I O N N O. 7997 FEB6 1918 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR THE FURNISHING <br /> URIGt AL <br /> OF FOUR TRUCKS; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENTS FOR THE FUR- <br /> NISHING THEREOF; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY <br /> DEPOSITS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 7947 adopted December <br /> 12 , 1977, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of <br /> five (5) trucks to be used for municipal purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call bids were received and <br /> filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equip- <br /> ment; and <br /> WHEREAS, Dodge Center, Redwood City, California, is the <br /> lowest resonsible bidder for the furnishing of Vehicle I, <br /> Vehicle II, and Vehicle III and Bayshore International Trucks, <br /> Inc. , San Mateo, California, is the lowest responsible bidder <br /> for the furnishing of Vehicle IV, which vehicles were referred <br /> to in the aforementioned call for bids, and it is the inten- <br /> tion and the desire of this Council to award said bids to <br /> Dodge Center and Bayshore International Trucks, Inc. ; <br /> NOW THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Dodge Center in the total net delivered <br /> price to the City of Redwood City for Vehicle I (1/2-ton pick- <br /> up) of Five Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-one and 80/100 <br /> Dollars ($5,331. 80) , for Vehicle II (Van) of Five Thousand <br /> Seven Hundred Sixty-two and 16/100 Dollars ($5,762 .16) and <br /> for Vehicle III (Van) of Five Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty- <br /> two and 16/100 Dollars ($5,762.16) and the bid of Bayshore <br /> International Trucks, Inc. in the total net delivered price <br /> to the City of Redwood City for Vehicle IV (2-ton Dump Truck) <br /> of Twelve Thousand Thirty-eight and 32/100 Dollars ($12 ,038. 32) , <br /> 7997 <br />
