RESOLUTION NO. P- 2249 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR F-DOCK DREDGING <br /> PROJECT AT THE PORT OF REDWOOD CITY; AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br /> DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS (The Dutra <br /> Group) <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. P-2241, adopted August 13, <br /> 2014, by the Board of Port Commissioners, the Port Executive Director <br /> requested bids for the F-Dock Dredging Project at the Port of Redwood City, <br /> Redwood City, California; and <br /> WHEREAS, Two (2) bids were received for the performance of said work <br /> and filed with the Port Executive Director; and <br /> WHEREAS, The Dutra Group of San Rafael, California, is the lowest <br /> responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Board of Port <br /> Commissioners to award said bid to The Dutra Group. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of The Dutra Group in the amount of Five Hundred Nine <br /> Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Five and NO/100 Dollars ($509,555.00), computed <br /> in accordance with bidder's proposal dated September 18, 2014, for the <br /> construction of the F-Dock Dredging Project is hereby accepted and said bidder <br /> is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> - 1 - <br /> Reso 224 <br /> FXS/fs <br /> 09/19/14 s�'anne <br />
