Discussion of PrAVOSed Open Space sud Conseruation Element of the Aedwood Ci*•;� <br /> General Plan — <br /> Mr. Weeks explained the short period of time between cempletion of this plan <br /> by the Planning C�ission and the pubLic hearing. It was given .to Comanissl.on <br /> members so they mf�ht have an oppoxtuniCy to rev�ew and bring their suggestions <br /> to :the Council. Mr. Guida questioned why the Planniz�g Coaanission prepares plans <br /> on parks rather than the Park and Recreation Commission. Mr.. Weeic$ explained <br /> that the Planning Commisaion is charged with the responsibility of preparir_g alI <br /> of the elements of the General Plan.
