, ` ' RJC:ek:8/15/60-7 r - ORD I NANCE NO. 9Z6 AN ORDINANCE AFPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $14,000 FROM TI3E UNAPPROPRIATED UNBUDGETED BALANCE OF THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF C4NSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS OF THE MUNICIPAL MARINA AND FOR FAYMENT OF ENGINEERING AND OTHER INCIDENTAL COSTS NECESSARY OR CONVENIENT THERETO; AND, APPR4PRIATING THE SUM OF $4,000 FROM THE UNt�PPROPRIATED UNBUDGETED BALANCE OF THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE PURPOSE 4F REPAYMENT TO STATE OF CALIFORNIA OF THE OUTSTANDING BALI�,NCE DUE AND C7WING ON THE MARINA PLANNING FUND LQAN TnTHEREA.S, the City of Redwood City intends to construct certain improvements and enlargements to the Redwood City Municipal Marina from the proceeds of a $300, 000 construction loan for such pur- poses obtained from the State of California, Division of Small �raft FIarbors; and, wHEREAS, it is anticipated that addi�ional funds will be necessary to accomplish said improvements and to pay engineering and other incidental costs in connection therewith; and, WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City did heretofore borrow the sum of $5,000 from the State of California, Division of Small Craft Harbors, for the purpose of planning for improvements at the Redwood City Municipal Marina, pursuant to an agreement dated Ju1y 30, 1958; and, Y'+ZHEREAS, the sum of $4, 000 is presentl.y due and owing from the City of Redwood City to the State of Caliiornia, Division of Small Craft Harbors, under said agreement dated July 30, 1958; and, Sr�TfiEREAS, it is the in�ention and desire of t.hi� Council to repay a11 sums presently due and owing to the State of California pursua;zt to said agreement dated July 30, 1958, and to appropriate an additional sum of $14, 000 towards the constxuction of said improvements of the R�dwood City Municipal Marina and the payme�z�t of engineering and otner costs incidental thereto; NOL`�, TN..EREF 0�2E; TH� COUNCIL OF REDVr70�D CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOi�tTS: _..a„. . �w.
