.. .�. .._.. .._. ... <br /> ' - REG:yc: 12/29/60-7 <br /> COM-O <br /> O R D I N A N C E N O. 9�9 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AP- <br /> PROVING THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED <br /> �� CANCILLA ANNEXATION " <br /> AND HEREIN DESCRIBED, AND HEREIN ANNEXING SAID <br /> TERRITORY TO SAID CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> WHEREAS, on the 14th day of Novemh:er , 19 60 , the <br /> Council of the City of Redwood City adopted Resolution No. 3244 <br /> giving notice of, and declaring its intention to, initiate upon its <br /> own motion proceedings to annex to the City of Redwood City all of <br /> the territory designated as " Cancilla Annexation " ; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence showing, and has <br /> found, and again finds, that a written description of the proposal <br /> to annex said territory to the City of Redwood City was filed with <br /> the Secretary of the Boundary Commission of San Mateo County, <br /> California, on October 17 , 19 60 , and that said Boundary <br /> Commission has prepared, or caused to be prepared, a report on said <br /> annexation proposal as required by law, and that said Boundary <br /> Commission has approved the boundaries of said proposed annexation; <br /> and has received evidence showing, and has found, and agai.n finds, <br /> that the aforementioned action of the Council initiating the an- <br /> nexation of the herein described territory, upon its own motion, <br /> was not commenced until after said written description of the <br /> proposal for said annexation was filed with the Secretary of the <br /> San Mateo County Boundary Commission, and until after said Com- <br /> mission made, or caused to be made, its report and approved said <br /> boundaries; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has further received evidence showing, <br /> and has found, and again finds: <br /> (1) That said territory is situate immediately adjacent to <br />
