SPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY <br /> A Presentation of Proclamation to Nat Mangini upon the occasion of his retirement and the <br /> closing of Lock's Drug Store, 2205 Broadway, after fifty-seven outstanding years of <br /> service to the people of Redwood City and the Peninsula; (207) <br /> Councilwoman Buchan read the proclamation to Nat Mangini who received a standing <br /> ovation for his long and proud career in Redwood City. Mayor Hartnett thanked Mr. <br /> Mangini for his friendship, his service to the people of Redwood City, and his <br /> commitment to the downtown business community. <br /> Mr. Mangini thanked the Council and individual Council Members he had worked with <br /> over the years. He introduced his lovely wife Edna, sister Marie and her husband, his son, <br /> daughter-in-law and other family members. Mr. Mangini described his long association <br /> with the Council's Pride and Beautification Committee, and said he was leaving his heart <br /> in Redwood City.
