Ordinance No. 952, entitled "An Ordinance of <br /> the City of Redwood City Providing for a Connection to Public <br /> 6ewers of all Plumbing which Receives Waste Discharge from any <br /> Building or Structure Except Under Certain Designated Conditions, <br /> Providing Procedures for Making such Connections, and Repealing <br /> Ordinances Nos. 202 and 215," adopted November 23, 1959, is <br /> hereby amended by adding, preceding Section 1 thereof, an article <br /> heading to read: <br /> "ARTICLE I, �EWER CONNECTI(�NS" <br /> �ECTION 2. �ection 3 of the above mentioned Ordinance <br /> No. 952 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "�ection 3. (a) It shall be unlawful for any person, <br /> firm or corporation to make or cause to be made a connection <br /> to a public sewer or sewer lateral without f irst obtaining <br /> a written sewer connection permit from the City Engineer <br /> and paying the established fees for such connection, as <br /> prescribed by Article II of this ordinance. No sewer <br /> connection permit shall be issued in any case where it is <br /> necessary to construct a sewer lateral unless the applica- <br /> tion required by subdivision (b) of this section has been <br /> made and approved. <br /> " (b) If no sewer lateral exists between the public <br /> sewer and the property line of the adjacent property to <br /> ;�:� <br /> � <br /> ,� <br /> t <br />
