SPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY <br /> A. Video presentation of "Make a Difference Day" at Hoover School. <br /> Roxanne Dragan, Hoover Elementary School teacher/parent liaison and one of the <br /> organizers and directors of the "Make a Difference Day" at Hoover School, showed a short <br /> video of the activities on the day of the clean-up. The video showed students, teachers, <br /> school personnel, parents, friends, neighbors, volunteers, City staff and Council Members <br /> sweeping, washing, painting and repairing Hoover School. Ms. Dragan announced that the <br /> Pride and Beautification Committee, the Rotary Club, and a volunteer parent have offered <br /> to finish the clean-up and they can't wait to see it done. <br /> Councilwoman Howard suggested that during the upcoming budget process the Council <br /> consider designating "Make a Difference Day" an annual event adopting a different school <br /> each year.
