ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br /> A. John Holt, 42 Iris Street, Redwood City, thanked Council, staff and <br />downtown business people for their support of the well attended and very <br />successful Children's Christmas Parade on December 18, 1993. <br /> B. Marie Rickes, 3015 E. Bayshore, Redwood City, recapped the City's <br />involvement with negotiations on rent stabilization plans with the mobile <br />home parks in Redwood City, the failure of the parks and the home owners <br />to reach agreement, and the lack of City leadership in safeguarding this <br />affordable housing. <br />City Manager Everett advised there had been recent correspondence from <br />the Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center advising of progress in the <br />negotiation process between the park owners and home owners.
