PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE -- Councilman Claire <br /> 4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br /> A Shirley Gernler, 363 Quay Lane, Redwood City, described the Redwood Shores <br /> Homeowners Association attempts to have the City stop TCI Cablevision from installing <br /> ugly pedestals in Redwood Shores, a dedicated underground utility district; and advised that <br /> the pedestals had become a health and safety issue. <br /> Finance Director Ponty outlined the City's previous actions and advised a technical <br /> consultant had been hired to research the use of pedestals by TCI, and the report to Council <br /> would be ready in April. <br /> B. Mary Costa, 361 Quay Lane, Redwood City, described her conversations with TCI who <br /> were unresponsive.
