SPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY (Item 3. will be taken Out of Order at this time.) <br /> A. Presentation of Awards to winners of the Graffiti Free Library Poster Contest. (301-12) <br /> Assistant Library Director Duffy described the damage done to the Library by graffiti <br /> and vandals that led to the Library's designation as a Graffiti Free Zone by the City <br /> Council, and the anti-graffiti program. Assistant Director Duffy thanked the Library staff, <br /> Parks and Recreation Supervisor Hannon, the Redwood City General Services Department <br /> and Councilwoman Steinfeld for their clean-up efforts, and described the articles in the <br /> newspapers calling attention to the problem of graffiti. Assistant Director Duffy, Diane <br /> Casey, Young Adult's Librarian and Mayor Buchan presented the awards to the winners <br /> of the Graffiti Free Library Poster Contest: <br /> 4-5 year old category: Viral Shah, First Place <br /> Eric Ramirez, Second Place <br /> 6- 7 year old category Gerardo Romo, First Place <br /> MINUTE BOOK NO. 52 <br /> Page No. 367 <br /> .. ,- -,_.... ... -'.---.---'--'.-------------'-------------'----- <br />
