AMENDED AND RESTATED COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO FOR PUBLIC USE OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO PARKING STRUCTURE AND PARKING LOT LOCATED AT MIDDLEFIELD ROAD AND VETERANS BOULEVARD IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into thiso2cday of ,? 2016 , by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, a political subdivision of the State of California ("County") (collectively the "Parties"). RECITALS A. The Parties entered into a certain Cooperative Agreement dated September 23, 2003 (the "Cooperative Agreement") for a term of ten years. Pursuant to the Cooperative Agreement, the City was afforded , for public use, certain parking facilities of the County, namely, a parking structure generally located at Middlefield Road and Veterans Boulevard (the "Parking Structure") and an at-grade parking lot located behind the Parking Structure (the "Parking Lot"). B . The Parties entered into a First Amendment to the Cooperative Agreement, dated May 22 , 2007, which extended the Hours of Operation under the Agreement, and the parties subsequently entered into a Second Amendment to the Cooperative Agreement, dated July 29, 2009 , which reserved certain parking stalls on Bradford Street for the use of County Office of the Sheriff.
