P- 8 25 CONCURRENT RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ESTABLISHING CERTAIN POLICIES RELATING TO THE TRANSFER OF CONTROL AND JURISDICTION OF THE REDWOOD CITY MUNICIPAL MARINA TO SAID BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS WHEREAS , pursuant to the provisions of Section 47f ( 4 ) of the Charter of the City of Redwood City , the Council of Redwood City , upon request of the Board of Port Commissioners of said City , has , on November 21 , 1977 , introduced an ordinance (being Ordinance Nol w conferring control and jurisdiction upon the Board of Port Commissioners of the City of Redwood City over certain City- owned lands within the Port area of the City of Redwood City ( as said area is defined in the Charter of the City of Redwood City ) , which lands comprise the area generally known as the Redwood City Municipal Marina ; and WHEREAS , in connection with said transfer of jurisdiction , the Council of Redwood City and the Board of Port Commissioners of the City of Redwood City , in accordance with studies and recommenda- tions reviewed by said Council and Board , respectively , desire jointly to establish certain policies governing said transfer of control and jurisdictionland for the guidance of the implementation thereof ; NOW , THEREFORE ; BE IT CONCURRENTLY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY , AS FOLLOWS : 1 .
