Carried by unanimous voice vote with Councilman Bury abstaining from the vote on the Minutes of 12/18/89. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - - - - -- SPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY AND PUBLIC HEARINGS 1. PUBLIC HEARING - General Improvement District 1 -64 Capital Budget and Increase in Facilities Fees for 1990 (901 -02) Report: Community Development Director 11/28/89 City Engineer Curt Luck presented the staff report. In response to Council questions City Engineer Luck advised the GID 1 -64 is a replacement financing mechanism for bonds for infrastructure improvements in Redwood Shores; if changes are needed to the proposed rate schedule Council will be asked to take appropriate action; the emphasis in the proposed budget is on water reclamation and levee improvements; thanked Don Warren of Redwood Shores, Inc. for RSI intensive studies on water reclamation; and advised the remainder of the bond funds would be used on these proposed projects.
