<br /> DES:djJ<- 04/27/89 (022/7) <br /> MA~ 2 2 1989 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1995 <br /> --------- - - ORlGi !\nL <br /> URGENCY INTERIM ORDINANCE PROHIBITING USES IN CONFLICT <br /> WITH ZONING PROPOSAL RELATING TO PROPERTIES FRONTING ON <br /> ROLISON ROAD BETWEEN THE INTERSECTIONS THEREOF WITH <br /> SECOND AVENUE AND FIFTH AVENUE IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. This Council hereby finds, determines and <br />concludes as follows: <br /> a. The real property fronting on Rolison Road between the <br />intersections thereof with Second Avenue and Fifth Avenue (the <br />"Subject Property" ) shown on Exhibit "A" hereof (depicted by <br />shading) is currently located in the "CG" (General Commercial) <br />zoning district pursuant to Article 15 (commencing with §15.l) of <br />Ordinance No. 1130, as amended (the "R.C. Zone Ord. ") . <br /> b. The Subject Property is the only property fronting on <br />Rolison Road so zoned. <br /> c. The bulk of the property lying generally northwesterly <br />of the Subject Property fronting on Broadway and Douglas Avenue <br />is located in the "IR" (Industrial-Restricted) zoning district <br />(R.C. Zone Ord. § § 1 7 . 1 et seq.). <br /> d. Virtually all existing commercial enterprises located <br />on the Subject Property currently conform to the IR zoning <br />district regulations. <br /> e. The planning division of the Department of community <br />Development has been, and is, considering a rezoning proposal <br />which would place the Subject Property in the IR zoning district. <br /> f. An application for a land use which would be <br />inconsistent with the proposed IR zoning district designation, <br /> 1995 <br />-- - ~ <br />
