<br /> DCB:sh 10/25/84 <br /> DES: sh 1/04/85R <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1907 FEB 25 1985 <br /> FEB 2 5 1985 <br /> --------- <br />ORDINANCE ADDING DIVISION 3 TO CHAPTER 20 OF THE CODE <br />OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO INTERSTATE <br />TRUCK ACCESS <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 20.75 is hereby added to Chapter 20 of <br />the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: <br /> Division 3. Interstate Truck Access <br /> "Section 20.75. Definitions. The following words and <br />phrases shall for the purpose of the Section 20.75.1 to <br />20.75.7 have the meanings respectively ascribed to them in <br />this section. <br /> Whenever any words or phrases used in these sections <br />are not defined herein, but are now defined in the <br />California Vehicle Code, such definitions are incorporated <br />herein and shall be deemed to apply to such words and <br />phrases used herein as though set forth in this chapter in <br />full. <br /> (a) "Caltrans" means the State of California <br />Department of Transportation or its successor agency or <br />agencies. <br /> (b) "Interstate Truck" means a truck tractor and <br />semi-trailer or truck tractor, semi-trailer and trailer with <br />unlimited length as regulated by California Vehicle Code, <br />particularly Vehicle Code Section 35401.5(a) (1) and (2) . <br /> I 907 <br />-... ---....- <br />
