" C~:bc:5/16/79 ORIG1NAL ORDINANCE NO. 1786 JUN 4 1979 --------- ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 20.95.1, 20.123.5, 20.126 AND 20.127 OF, AND ADDING SECTION 20.95.2 TO, CHAPTER 20 OF THE REDWOOD CITY CODE RELATING TO PARKING BAIL SCHEDULES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 20.95.1 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 20.95.1. ( a) If a vehicle shall remain parked in a parking space beyond the parking time limit fixed for such parking space in accordance with the provisions of this division, such vehicle shall be considered as parked overtime and beyond the period of legal parking time in that event, and the parking of a vehicle overtime or beyond the period of legal parking time in any such part of a street where parking is limited to a specific period of time shall be a violation of this division. It shall be unlawful and a violation of the provisions of this division for any person to cause, allow, permit or suffer any vehicle registered in the name of, or operated by such person to be parked overtime or beyond the period of legal parking time established for any parking space. " (b) It shall be the duty of each police officer or parking enforcement deputy to take the state vehicle license of such vehicle; the time, place, and date of such over- parking; and make of such vehicle; and issue, in writing, a citation for illegal parking in the same form and subject to the same procedure provided for by the laws of the state applicable to traffic violations within the city.
