MSR: jp: 5/16/78 I 76 1 ORIGINAL ORDINANCE NO. 1761 --------- - - JUL 3 1978 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE VI OF CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; RELATING TO SANITARY SEWERAGE SERVICE CONNECTION THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Article VI of Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "ARTICLE VI. SANITARY SEWERAGE SERVICE CONNECTIONS "Section 27.80. For the purposes of this article, and in addition to the definitions set forth in Section 27.11, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings respectively ascribed hereto: " (a) Building Official. The Building Inspector of the City including his authorized deputies or representatives; " (b) Director. The Director of the Department of Public Works of the City, including his authorized deputies or representatives; " (c) Health Officer. The San Mateo County Director of Public Health and Welfare including his authorized deputies or representatives; " (d) Private Sewage Disposal System. A privately owned, installed and maintained sewage disposal system, including a septic tank, cesspool, seepage pit, drainage field or leaching system, designed to serve private property and its building occupants for the sanitary disposal of sewage; " (e) Sewer Laterals. That portion of the horizontal sewer piping in the public right- of-way which extends from the public sewerage facilities to the street property line or limit of public right-of-way or easement; " (f) Sewer Service Area A. All premises located within the City, and not located within sewer service Area B; " (g) Sewer Service Area B. All premises located within Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64, a general improvement district duly organized and existing under the Redwood City General Improvement District Ordinance (being Ordinance No. 1128, adopted March 9, 1964, as amended), and all territory annexed to said District; 1 761 -.-..
