<br /> / - ,~_." <br /> . <br /> MSR:jp:lO/19/77 <br /> MSR:jp:12/23/77R <br /> MS R: j p : 5/1 7/78 R <br /> 1760 MSR: jp: 6/6/7 8R <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1760 <br /> <br /> --------- - - <br /> AN ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 13 OF THE CODE OF ORIGINAL <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; REPEALING ORDINANCE JUL 3 1978 <br /> NO. 1676; AND ADDING CHAPTER 13 TO THE CODE OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHING <br /> OF PERMIT REQUIREMENTS FOR FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS AND <br /> TO THE ESTABLISHING OF HEALTH STANDARDS FOR RESTAURANTS, <br /> ITINERANT RESTAURANTS, MOBILE FOOD VENDORS, <br /> CATERERS, DATING AND LABELLING, VENDING MACHINES, <br /> FOOD EQUIPMENT, PUBLIC FRESH WATER SPORTS AREAS, WELLS, <br /> BACKFLOW PREVENTION DEVICES, CHEMICAL TOILETS, RODENT <br /> AND INSECT CONTROL, AND PRIVATE SEWAGE DISPOSAL <br /> SYSTEMS <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. Chapter 13 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br />City, is hereby repealed. <br /> SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 1676, adopted July 26, 1976, <br />entitled "An Ordinance Prohibiting Cross-Connections in the City <br />of Redwood City," is hereby repealed. <br /> SECTION 3. Chapter 13 is hereby added to the Code of the <br />City of Redwood City, to read as follows: <br /> "CHAPTER 13 ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH CODE <br /> "ARTICLE 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS <br /> "Section 13.1. Purpose. The purpose of this chapter is <br /> to establish standards for restaurants, itinerant restaurants, <br /> mobile food vendors, caterers, food equipment, public fresh <br /> water sports areas, wells, backflow prevention devices, <br /> I, <br /> chemical toilets and rodent and insect control complementary <br /> to those imposed by the California Health and Safety Code and <br /> to the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder by the <br /> State Department of Health. <br /> "Section 13.2. Responsibility for Enforcement.
