RESOLUTION NO. 2434 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF <br />GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION AND CONSOLIDATED SPECIAL <br />MUNICIPAL BOND ELECTION, HELD ON APRIL 80 195$• <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City, <br />by Resolution No. 2386, duly passed and adopted on February <br />10, 1958, designated the precincts and polling places and <br />appointed the members of the precinct boards for the general <br />election to be held in said City of Redwood City on April 84 <br />1958, as :required by law, for the objects and purposes of <br />(1) electing the following municipal officers of said City of <br />Redwood City: <br />Three (3) Councilmen for the full term <br />of four (4) years each; and <br />(2) submitting to the voters ten Charter Amendment proposi- <br />tions hereinafter referred to, and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 888 adopted by <br />said Council on February 17, 1958, a special municipal bond <br />election was called for the purpose of submitting to the <br />qualified electors of said City the bond measures and each of <br />them hereinafter specified, which said special municipal bond <br />election was by said Ordinance consolidated with the general <br />municipal election hereinabove referred to; and <br />WHEREAS, said general municipal election and con- <br />solidated special municipal bond election was held on Tuesday, <br />April 8, 1958, in accordance with law, and the votes thereat <br />received and canvassed, and the returns thereof ascertained, <br />determined and declared in all respects as required by law; <br />1 <br />
